Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML-based format for content distribution. The Gold Torch Online now offers an RSS feed for use with your own news reader. This feed includes headlines, excerpts and links to the complete articles.
For more information about RSS and descriptions of various news readers, read this New York Times article.

There are several ways to access RSS feeds. Installing a news reader, like Pluck, which displays RSS feeds from the sites you select will allow you to view lots of headlines at once. After installing a news reader, you can add feeds manually from Web sites by clicking Subscribe or the RSS, XML, or Feed button next to the sites url.
Other options for news readers: NewsGator and My Yahoo!; or Web browsers like Firefox, Flock, Opera and Safari with built in RSS capability; or PureDirectory for hand held devices.
